Ready to begin your juicing journey? You've come to the right place! I've been juicing for 30 years and can honestly say it is the healthiest thing I do for myself and the one thing that makes me feel super hydrated, nourished and healthy! I recommend you watch the above video where I discuss some key points on how juicing is good for the body. Then watch the video below on my review of the juicer I am currently using!

Slow spinning masticating type juicers which are called slow juicers can be considered cold press because they spin at a low RPM and don't compromise the integrity of the juice. I have used many of these types and really love them. Currently I am extremely happy with my cold pressed slow juicer by Namawell which is around $550 (But I am sharing my special discount code and link just for you should you decide to get one for yourself!). It comes with a 15 year warranty and payment plans are available! This juicer is great if you want a high-quality cold pressed juice in a slow juicer that is actually easy to use and quick to juice in. You can load entire recipes at once! Juices stay fresh up to 48 hours. Pulp is dry which means more juice in your cup and money saved.

Two-stage cold press juicers have a grinder and a separate press. An example of this kind is the pure juicer. These have a grinder which grinds up the produce then you place that into a cloth and place it in between two plates that compress the produce and squish the juice out. Costs starts at approx. $2100. These produce a very clear fiber free juice. This juicer is great if you have more to spend and a bit more time to spend on making your juices and want your juices really clear with no fiber. Juices can be stored up to 72 hours. Pulp is very dry which means maximum juice extraction.
Centrifugal Juicers
These spin at a higher RPM. Examples of these types of juicers are the Breville and Jack LaLanne. I've owned and juiced with both of these in the past. These start at approx. $170 for the Brevilles and $329 for the LaLanne's. These do not juice greens very well on their own but you can make it work if you bunch up the greens with cucumbers and other high water content fruits and veggies. They are louder when juicing as well. Since these are fast spinning centrifugal type juicers the juice is heated slightly and is not considered a cold pressed juice. Also, juicing with centrifugal juicers will juice quicker but the yield is lower and the integrity of the juice is not as high as juice made in a Slow Masticating or Two-Stage Cold Press Juicer. If you want a fast juice, can drink it within the same day as making it, don't mind a louder noise when juicing or the juice nutrient quality being effected and is at your budget price then you might choose this type of juicer. (Keep in mind though payment plans are available with the other 2 types of juicers I mentioned here.) Pulp is wet which means not all of the juice is extracted from the pulp.
Conclusion & Final Thoughts
If you want a medium priced juicer with a higher quality cold pressed juice with a little more fiber in your juice (you can use the strainer if you want less fiber) then I recommend the one like mine. It's a slow style juicer but it's actually fast to juice in it! The quality of the juice and nutritional content is superior in these slow type single auger juicers and the Nama J2 is very efficient and makes juicing quicker and fun! It produces a high quality cold pressed juice in a quick fashion! You will see it in the color of the juice and you save money because you will get way more juice out of your produce compared to the centrifugal types because slow types the produce is masticated and the juicer spins at a slow RPM which is better for the nutrients to remain and not to oxidize.
The other juicer that I really love and must mention is the Tribest Solostar 4. I used this one for many years. This is a slow juicer with a single auger and takes a little more time to chop up everything into small pieces and to juice in it. It produces a high quality cold pressed juice but it does take much more time to juice with it and you will have to feed every piece of produce into it. It is excellent at juicing pure greens and herbs. Juices can be stored up to 48 hours. Pulp is dry. Runs around $400.
All being said I feel the Slow Type is perfect and at a great medium cost! Usually slow type juicers requires a little more time to commit to juicing (which to me has been well worth it). However, with the Nama J2 Juicer's newer technology it isn't slow to juice in a slow juicer anymore! With it's load and go technology it really makes juicing easy!
Whatever you decide to get, the most important thing is that you will be making and enjoying fresh organic juices for yourself and family! Juicing is one of the best ways to get a form of concentrated nutrition into the cells quickly!
